Year Six hosted the Apprentice Day Fair in the KS2 Hall on Friday, selling their products and services to the children from EYFS to Year 5. Overall, everyone had a fantastic morning, with the children from Year Six showing some real business acumen. They made a profit of £597.43 in total with the winning team (Wacky Wheels) making £105.06 to win the competition. The money from this event and the Keymaster collections (£940 in total) will go to The Songwriting Charity. Well done Year Six: A fantastic achievement!
Year 6 have had a great (and hot!) day experiencing lots of different Olympic sports and being inspired by the legacy of London 2012. Thanks to all the adults that organised and ran events! On Monday, we had our inter-house football and netball tournaments! A fantastic time was had by all! Thanks to Jack and Mrs Lester for all their hard work! On Monday 18th July, Mrs Sargeant organised a wonderful leavers' lunch for Year 6 - it was great to sit and eat together as a year group, amid decorations and good luck wishes! Thank you so much! After winning the semi-final of the inter-school cricket competition, the Year Six girls cricket team took part in the Essex finals last week. The level of competition was very high, but we managed to finish 9th in the county! A fantastic achievement!
